We are looking for a Senior Building Surveyor (or aspiring Senior) to join one of the leading Real Estate Services companies in Europe. If you’re looking for a great place to work, with a great team of people and some of the best projects in town… read on!

The Team:

You’ll be working alongside a small but fabulous team of professionals, including other Building Surveyors, M&E Engineers and Flood Risk Surveyors, ensuring that you always have expert advice to hand. The wider team is much bigger, very likely one of the biggest Project and Building Consultancy teams in the UK, which means these guys attract some of the most exciting clients and projects out there in the market!

You’ll be rewarded handsomely for your efforts as your bonus (paid twice yearly) is linked directly to your fee income… so no smoke and mirrors here, you know exactly what you’ll be taking home, on top of a generous salary and benefits package. Happy Days!

What will I be doing?

The workload is varied due to the nature of the role, but will typically include the following:

• Technical due diligence surveys.

• Design and contract administration of building works and repairs.

• Planned maintenance programmes.

• Dilapidations (Landlord and Tenant).

• Party Walls and Rights to Light.

• Project Monitoring.

• Building Reinstatement (Fire Insurance) Valuation.

What are we looking for?

If you are an ambitious, professional and entrepreneurial individual, looking for a new challenge, we are keen to hear from you. We are looking for individuals keen to take the next step in their careers within a supportive and progressing Building Surveying team in Birmingham. Ideally you will have solid commercial Building Surveying experience and either your MRICS or working towards.
