We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager/Associate Project Manager to support with the growth of the business and the continued delivery of world class service to a diverse client base. You’ll be based from a small but growing office in Newcastle and despite their size, they have all the benefits of being part of a larger firm such as the benefits on offer, unrivalled career development, CPD and the ability to support on larger projects. The team work across a wide range of sectors, including Higher Education, Infrastructure, Retail, Commercial Office Developments and Industrial facilities, amongst much more. Project values range from £100k-£100m, including assisting the other regional offices (such as Leeds) with work.
We’re looking for someone who wants to pitch and progress in their career, someone who can multitask and must have contract admin experience. Someone ideally with a consultancy background (previous experience as a QS would be ideal, but otherwise a good understanding of cost management).
You will have experience in day-to-day project management delivery, ensuring that project standards are achieved and managing the operational aspects of projects, including identifying necessary resources, assigning individual responsibilities and delivery of work elements.
We are looking for someone who wants to grow into a leadership position and who thrives on complex challenges in a client facing role, being both eager to learn and develop whilst also assisting to drive their position as a leader in the industry.
Ideally you will be:
Degree qualified
MRICS or MAPM qualified
Experienced in managing multiple or complex projects
Capable of running projects from start to finish with minimal supervision
Technically skilled in being able to carry out project management processes and demonstrate project leadership skills
